Junior Counselor Program (Ages 13–15)
We’re excited to offer a Junior Counselor (JrC) Program at Superior Summer Camp for teens who are ready to step into a leadership role while still enjoying all the fun of camp.
Junior Counselors at Superior play a special role in supporting campers and daily activities throughout Snowbird. They’ll be right in the mix—helping with group transitions, joining in on activities, and most importantly, being a fun, supportive buddy for younger campers.
This is a great opportunity for teens to:
- Build confidence and leadership skills
- Gain hands-on experience working with children
- Be part of a team while still enjoying the magic of summer camp
- Participate in Snowbird activities alongside campers
Parents can feel confident knowing their teen is spending their summer in a safe, engaging camp environment surrounded by strong mentors, while also gaining real-life experience.
As part of the program, Junior Counselors will receive:
- $100/week in pocket money
- All transportation and meals provided
- A reference letter to help build their resume and future opportunities
Junior Counselors are guided by our experienced staff and included as an important part of our camp community. It’s a balance of responsibility, mentorship, and fun.
If your teen is kind, energetic, and excited to be a role model, we’d love to hear from you!
