Superior Summer Camp at Snowbird

Adventure-Filled Summer Camp for Kids Ages 5–10 in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains

Looking for a FUN summer camp near Salt Lake City? Superior Summer Camp is based at the iconic Cliff Lodge at Snowbird and offers several weeks of exciting, nature-based fun for children ages 5 to 10. We plan to incorporate a taste of the outdoor adventure activities again for the 2026 season —like ropes courses, tram rides, mountain hikes, and alpine play—with creative indoor experiences including music, art, building, and exploration.

Campers enjoy healthy meals that are planned & prepared at the center, nurturing care from CPR-certified and background-checked staff, and daily photo updates via the Brightwheel app. Our location, engaging curriculum, and safe environment make Superior Summer Camp one of Utah’s UNIQUE summer camps for kids.

Daily Activities

Every morning, campers enjoy a choice-based program built around the week’s theme. Each week, our team prepares 20 creative, hands-on activity tubs filled with art, STEM, games, challenges, experiments, building projects, and imaginative play opportunities. Counselors select 4 activities each day, and campers choose the activities that interest them most. Many campers participate in more than one activity throughout the morning.

Activities may take place indoors or outdoors depending on the project and weather. For campers who prefer something different, we also offer a large free-choice art studio and a discovery area stocked with more than 175 games, puzzles, STEM materials, building sets, books, and creative activities. Our goal is to foster independence, curiosity, and a sense of autonomy by allowing children to help shape their own camp experience.

Every afternoon, campers head outdoors to enjoy the best of Snowbird. Adventures may include the tram, mountain coaster, ropes course, fishing pond, park play, mountain exploration, outdoor games, and picnics in the fresh mountain air. No two days are exactly alike, creating a summer full of adventure, choice, and fun.
